Return Your Recalled Ladder For A Full Refund
The recalled ladders were sold exclusively through Lowe’s and Home Depot stores between April 2018 and May 2018. Werner is offering full refunds to consumers who purchased an affected ladder; return your ladder to the store where it was purchased for more details.
The ladders can be used in any one of 5 configurations:
- wall ladder
- scaffold base
- extension ladder
- stairway step ladder
- twin step ladder
Each model has a load capacity of 375 pounds.
Attorneys Launch Full Investigation
No details have yet been released on why the ladders can break during use. We do not yet know whether or not the ladders are defective in design, but Werner’s choice to recall the entire line, rather than a small subset of the ladders, suggests that design may be an issue.
In order to assist injury victims, our experienced product liability attorneys have opened a full investigation into the recent Werner recall. At least one injury has already been reported, but with 78,000 ladders in stores as of May 2018, the real injury rate may be far higher.
