20-Vehicle Pileup Backs Up Traffic On I-76 In Montgomery County

On December 30th, at least 20 vehicles were involved in an accident on the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) in Montgomery County, which shut down part of the road for several hours that morning. The accident may have been related to snowfall from that morning and occurred in the westbound lane near the Gladwyne exit.

At least one person was brought to the hospital in critical condition. Traffic was backed up for miles, and several drivers were stuck in traffic for hours. At least two other vehicle accidents occurred on westbound I-76 that day, including one at the Conshohocken Curve and another at Gulph Mills.

Multi-Vehicle Accident Shuts Down Part Of PA Turnpike

Just two hours after the 20-vehicle pileup in Montgomery County, another multi-vehicle accident happened in Chester County. Witnesses said that more than 20 vehicles were involved in this crash. The accident occurred in the eastbound lanes near Downingtown at around 10 a.m. on December 30th. All eastbound lanes were shut down for over four hours.

At least nine people were transported to Paoli Hospital, where they received treatment for their injuries and were released.

2-Vehicle Accident Slows Traffic In Delaware County

On Friday, December 29th, a two-vehicle accident slowed traffic on Interstate 95 in Delaware County. The accident happened around 9:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the road. A truck was turned over on its side, which blocked two lanes of the highway. A car was also involved and had severe damage on the top of the vehicle. No reports of injuries are currently available.

Overdosing Driver Crashes Into Bucks County Home

A motorist crashed into a house in Bucks County on New Years Day, injuring the homeowner and causing a dog to flee the home, where it was struck and killed by another motorist. According to the police, the driver was overdosing on an unknown drug when the accident occurred. The suspect was driving a 2016 Honda in Levittown at around 6 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the back of a home after crossing through a field.

Two people were inside the home when the accident happened. A male resident was struck in the head by a glass door and taken to a hospital for treatment. The driver was found unconscious and had to be revived by police officers. He was brought to a hospital and later released into police custody.

MEET OUR MANAGING PARTNER: BRIAN MITTMAN

“I have been working since I was 14. I have probably held at least two dozen different jobs and I’ve seen people injured and hurt. One of the reasons I got involved with disability law is that I have a very good family friend who has been disabled his entire life, and I’ve seen how he’s struggled in order to keep working and try to work. When I was presented with the opportunity to get involved with what’s called “disability law,” I was really thrilled to be able to not only practice being an attorney, but helping other people who really need to know things about what their choices are, what they can do, and what their future may hold.

I am originally from Maple Glen, PA and is a life-long Eagles fan.

I have focused on helping individuals with their workers’ compensation, social security disability and long-term disability claims, as well as obtaining financial security for individuals who have had accidents.

As part of helping workers’ and their families, I have also been active in teaching continuing legal education courses to other attorneys, provide free seminars and webinars to the public on how to protect their rights, and I am active in various organizations such as the National Organization of Social Security Claims Representatives, the Injured Workers’ Bar Association and the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group.”
